Terms of Service

Short version: Use Klockn fairly, don't misuse other people's calendar data, and we'll keep the service running for you. The 2% platform fee applies to ticket sales through Klockn.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Klockn ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These terms apply to all users — attendees, organizers, and visitors.

2. Description of service

Klockn is a group scheduling and coordination platform that reads calendar availability, surfaces optimal time windows, and facilitates event booking. Klockn also provides AI-powered suggestions for venues, activities, hotels, transport, and tickets.

When attendees connect their calendar through Klockn, they consent to sharing free/busy availability data only. As an organizer, you must:

5. Platform fees and payments

Klockn charges a 2% platform fee on all ticket revenue processed through the platform. This fee is deducted automatically via Stripe Connect at the time of each ticket sale.

Organizers receive the remaining 98% of ticket revenue, less any applicable Stripe processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).

Klockn does not charge organizers any monthly or per-event fee beyond the 2% platform fee.

Klockn's AI may facilitate bookings through third-party providers (hotels, transport, tickets, restaurants). Klockn acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality, availability, or terms of third-party services. Your contract for those services is with the third party, not Klockn.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Refund policies for tickets sold through Klockn are set by the event organizer. Klockn's 2% platform fee is non-refundable once a ticket sale is completed. For disputes, contact hello@klockn.com.

9. Intellectual property

Klockn's brand, logo, software, and content are owned by Klockn. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission. Content you submit (event descriptions, etc.) remains yours — you grant Klockn a licence to use it to operate the service.

10. Limitation of liability

Klockn is provided "as is". We make no warranties about uptime or accuracy of availability data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klockn's liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Klockn in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. On termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
